Term & Conditions

  1. Auction Schedule:
    • New Century Success Auctions NCSA: Held every Monday with furniture starting at Lot 1 at 1 pm. Bidding is done online, and you can leave bids once the auction catalog is live.
    • Online Auctions: Exclusive online auctions throughout the month, featuring small collections of items available for public inspection. All bidding is conducted online.
    • Specialty Auctions: These include Showcase Auctions, Fine Art Auctions, and Great Collectors Auctions.
  2. Buyer’s Premium:
    • buyer’s premium of 20% plus GST applies to each lot.
    • All buyers must be registered, and permanent buyers can use their bidding number at any auction.
  3. Payment and Collection:
    • Payment is required by 7 pm on Tuesday for NCSA.
    • Accepted payment methods: EFTPOS, Visa, Mastercard (in-house), or direct debit.
    • No cash or cheques.
    • Failure to collect items within the designated timeframe incurs a storage fee of $20 per lot per day (excluding interstate/country buyers).
    • Furniture purchases have one week, and gallery purchases have two weeks before items are booked back into auction.
  4. Interstate and Country Buyers:
    • Interstate/country buyers (living 200km+ from Melbourne) can arrange collection.
    • Payment and collection by close of business on Tuesday after the auction is imperative.
  5. Condition of Items:
    • All items sold are expected to have “as is” some wear, use, or aging due to the nature of auction house goods.
    • If a lot is marked, it means it is sold with “all faults,” and our staff has noted damage beyond general wear and tear.
